[About this blog]
Some context to catch you up to speed.
The concept of family drama is a tale as old as time. I am sure there are people out there with far more drama than mine. And also people with far less. Wherever you are on the family drama spectrum, I am here to share my experiences, hopefully make you laugh, feel less alone, or at the very least alleviate some boredom.
I am a Mexican American with Native Mexican in my DNA. Took a DNA test and everything! (This plays into one of the stories I will share.) I have a stereotypical heteronormative environmental upbringing, a mother, a father, and one brother and one sister. The rest of the roster is as follows: Three aunts on each side, one uncle on each side, and 16 cousins total. Unfortunately, the majority of my life those people have been my bullies, my haters, and a prime example of what I hope to never ever become. To put it kindly in Spanish, me caen mal ( I do not like them).
These are their stories. As Pharrel Williams says in his song Lemon, “The truth will set you free. But first it will piss you off.”
Enjoy.
And if this blog makes you mad, then maybe you are one of them. And to that I say, pues como que cais mal.
xoxo. CAISMAL.

aka CAISMAL
I’m just a single queer Native Mexican mom just trying to live my life. Wondering why hater gotta hate. Sad that the call is coming from inside the house.
I’m in California. From Mexico – which is forever in my heart and soul.
